Northern Suburbs Artisan Market – 2024

The Scarborough Rotary Club, Northern Suburbs Artisan Market sadly regret to inform you that, due to insufficient personnel to operate the markets, we are suspending the Northern Suburbs Artisan Market until next summer.

Over winter we will be conducting a review and hope to be back later in the year. Please keep an eye on our website for any further information over the next months.

In the meantime, we wish you well and thank you for your support over the last 4 months.

Northern Suburbs Artisan Market

Northern Suburbs Artisan Market is a place for family and community to gather and enjoy good food, good music and WA handmade goods. It’s an opportunity for people to see and buy the many wonderful products created by our local artisans.

As a not-for-profit market, operated by the Scarborough Rotary Club, we support local charities, organisations and scholarships.

So, come support the local artisans and soak up the atmosphere. Carpool with friends, ride your bike or catch the bus.

When & Where

The market is at the Charles Riley Memorial Reserve.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Where can I park?

Main parking lots A and B are indicated on the map. There is also the North Beach Rd parking lot, Wendling Rd parking – over the far side of the oval – and parking just off from the Kitchener St and Wilberforce St roundabout.

Is there an entry fee?

No, entry is free.

How do I pay for items or food?

Most stalls accept either EFTPOS or cash. But to donate to the buskers providing music you will need cash.

Are there ATM's?

Unfortunately, with our location being a park, there are no ATM’s. So be sure to get money out before you come.

Is it access-friendly?

Yes, there is wheelchair access, ACROD parking spaces and disabled toilets.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are very welcome provided they are well behaved and on a lead. There is also a fenced, off-leash dog area.

Can I catch the bus?

The bus stop is marked on the map. Bus no. 423 and 424 are the ones to take as they travel between Warwick and Stirling stations.

Can I smoke there?

No, this is a smoke-free event.

Is the market still on if it is raining?

Yes, unless there are severe weather conditions, the market will go ahead. In the event of the market being cancelled notices will be posted upon this website, our Facebook page and on our Instagram.

What do you mean that Northern Suburbs is a not-for-profit market?

By holding and organising these markets the Scarborough Rotary Club raises money for many worthy charities, organisations and can fund scholarships. We are all volunteers, none of us make any personal profit and thus we are a not-for-profit market.
